No. There is no membership or start-up fee, and no contract to sign.

We offer an Exercise Fun Ticket (EFT) for $ 44. This ticket is accepted at all

also a Jazzercise certified instructor for Know More Diet and Personal Touch.
6. Do new sessions begin at certain times, or can I start anytime
Registration is ongoing on a drop-in basis. You can start anytime. Classes are often a
mixture of new students and students who have been doing Jazzercise for a long time.
7. Do I need special clothes or equipment?
Any loose, comfortable clothes are fine. Most people wear a leotard and tights, or
shorts and a T-shirt. Bring along a towel or exercise mat for the floor work. Good,
rubber-soled aerobic shoes are recommended.
8. How often should I exercise?
If you are new to exercise, begin with 2-3 classes a week and gradually add classes.
To increase your fitness level, work out 4-5 times per week.
Some facilities provide childcare for a nominal fee for non-participating children.
10. Where do I store personal belongings?
Please do not store purses, clothing, towels, or other belongings where they will present
a safety hazard. Jazzercise is not responsible for personal property. We do have room
around the perimeter of the room at the Castro Valley Adult School for a small amount
of personal belongings.
11. May I bring drinks and food to a class?
We recommend Jazzercisers bring a non-breakable water bottle with a lid to class.
Prevent accidents and spillage by keeping drinks out of the way of other Jazzercisers.
No food or gum, please.
Weights are optional for new students. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the
basic exercises and techniques before using light (3-5lb.) weights. We also have
exercise tubes available for sale on the Merchandise page.
Before beginning any new exercise program, Jazzercise recommends that you check
with your physician. Arrive at class 5 - 10 minutes early to register. Ask for our new
student guide which contains tips and additional information about Jazzercise. Wear
comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movements. A good aerobic or athletic
shoe is recommended. Bring a covered water bottle and mat or towel for floor routines.
Hand/Leg weights are optional for use during the body toning and strength building
routines.
